Red Carnation Soft CoralThe Carnation Coral, or Dendronepthya, is a stunning, non photosynthetic soft coral that can be difficult to maintain. It must be fed filter feeding foods like live baby brine or copepods, powdered coral foods, and other micro plankton foods. Dendronepthya also requires low light and constant medium to high water flow. They can also be mounted sideways or upside down to mimic the way they grow on overhangs and cave entrances.
